Book Review – Flat World, Big Gaps – Economic Liberalization, Globalization, Poverty and Inequality

Are the position advanced by the authors of this book to change the prevailing neo-liberal vision of the business community that economic liberalization and globalization are good for economic growth, reducing poverty and inequalities in society. The authors argue that, rather than the gap of poverty and inequality between countries and within societies have created, the economic liberalization and globalization, the situation made matters worse. To support their arguments, the authors distinguish rich from various case studies from Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, East Asia to Africa. The wealth of case studies makes this book so unique and exciting to read because it offers the reader an opportunity to gather evidence to test yourself, find the validity of the arguments presented. America – A Tapestry of Lose Ends

Amid all the rhetoric against the Bush administration, there are still many Americans who see a good man and good leader in George W. Bush. He worked hard to make their promise to conservative voters who had their trust in him during his seven years in power to keep now. He responded to the terrorist threat and proved that he is a man of determination. He took our suffering as a taxpayer account and lowered our tax burden. He rose to make the family and refused to America in a perverted society that deserves the fire fall from heaven. In short, he a first class in a very dangerous time has done. Today, with the Talking Heads in the race for the oath, it is easy to see that much remains to be done and many things linger failures of Bush, and there are many. It is not enough pressure for a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage. He has been an abysmal failure in stemming the flow of the tide of illegal immigration from our southern border. He has failed to rid the nation of our dependence on Middle Eastern oil, while Democrats and Republicans in Congress, Bush colleagues have the same load, as he all these errors. However, President Bush has to sow and a lot of cables that, if kept in tact, come to America on the path of right decisions and actions for a long time.
